Lemon Drop

This is a delicious, refreshing cocktail perfect for a hot day. If you wish for it to be less alcoholic just add extra ice cubes for an icier treat! Serves 1 officially but I shared mine…

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, peeled and roughly chopped (seeds removed)
  • 3 tsp caster sugar
  • 50ml Lemoncello
  • 50ml Triple Sec
  • Handful of ice cubes

Directions

Put the lemon pieces into a blender, sprinkle over the sugar and leave to steep to let the sugar dissolve for a few minutes. Pour in the limoncello and Triple Sec, add the ice cubes and whizz away.

When everything is combined, thickened and ice-white, pour into glass/es.

It must be 5pm somewhere in to the world so it must be a good time to give this little recipe a go and if you do, don’t forget to leave me a comment and let me know how you got on. Enjoy. Sheryl x
